Plan Your Visit

A visit to the Museum of LaFayette offers an opportunity to explore the stories and people that shaped our community.

The museum is located in the heart of downtown LaFayette, making it easy to combine your visit with a walk through the historic district. Just steps away you’ll find the Marsh-Warthen House, Joe Stock Memorial Park, and the LaFayette Town Square, which offers a variety of local shops and restaurants to enjoy before or after your visit.

We encourage visitors to check back closer to our mid-2026 opening for updated hours, special events, and information about new exhibits.

Parking & Accessibility

Limited gravel lot parking is available behind the museum. Additional parking can be found at the Joe Stock Memorial Park lot, located adjacent to the museum.

The museum’s first floor is accessible by ramp. Due to the age and historic restrictions of the building, the second floor is accessible by stairs only.
